i don't know where on campus this will take place, but it'll likely be in an auditorium of some kind--this is a joe wenderoth "reading"--they're not the typical, suicide-provokingly dull "readings," though--they honor the spirit of joe's material, let's put it that way--i'm gonna play the guitar and sing with him in different points of his show--old songs, hank, buck owens, merle, jimmie rodgers--i've only been to bakersfield once, to have a beer at the crystal palace, though i've written several songs with "bakersfield" in the title, like on my album Holding Merle Haggard--ought to be real fun
